About the Magazine
The Picture Professional magazine is the beautifully designed four-color, quarterly publication of the American Society of Picture Professionals (ASPP), mailed to all members, advertisers and other subscribers. Issues are published at the end of March, June, September and December each year. Our readers include creators, distributors, buyers and those who make their living working with visual content.
Our magazine’s editorial content includes columns by respected experts in research and archiving, technology, photography law and the art and business of the professional imaging industry. Each issue, typically 72 pages, features two portfolios displaying a variety of image genres from photography professionals around the world. Our “What’s Hanging” section details select photography exhibitions in cities near you. Other special feature topics include marketing strategies, industry trends, copyright issues and business practices.
