License Tracking: Systems & Technologies Webinar presented by ASMP and The Copyright Clearance Center
February 8, 2012
Every day, countless new licenses for visual content are issued while others expire. Still more images are published in a growing range of media with no indication of who to contact if you want to license them. Everyone benefits when all parties know exactly who can do what with any particular image at any given moment, but in a world where the number of ways to find, publish and distribute visual content grows daily, keeping track of the licenses and permissions associated with individual images is daunting at best. The panel of experts will take your questions about the tools and technologies both users and creators can use to ease this burden, including registries, image recognition software, digital asset management applications, methods for connecting images to owners and more.
