ADDITIONAL PROGRAMMING NOTES

Trade Show: Our weekend beings on Thursday with a one-day Trade Show at the Conference Hotel from 10AM to 5PM. Exhibitors include stock agencies, photographers, and professional service vendors who will be exhibiting their products, services and programs, all in a friendly environment. All Conference attendees are welcome to attend at their leisure. The Trade Show is free to attendees and will be promoted to the local photo community to both attend and exhibit.

SPACE IS LIMITED and allocated on a first come basis! If you would like to book an exhibit table for the Trade Show, you can do so immediately online at http://tinyurl.com/aspptradeshow. Or, click here for a PDF of the booking form.

Picture Archive Council of America: PACA is our conference partner in Boston. During Trade Show hours on Thursday, PACA is providing a demonstration of their newly launched pacaSearch (www.pacasearch.com). This mega meta-search engine is setting a new standard for stock image searching, taking hours out of your image search time. Unlike generic image search tools, pacaSearch results contain only licensable content, ranked by relevancy and quantity. Aided by a predictive text menu and built-in disambiguation of homographs and captionyms, buyers can search 150+ stock archives in seconds. This amazing tool is simple to use, lightning-fast, comprehensive—and FREE for buyers and contributing agencies alike!

Thursday’s Special Excursions: Attendees will be offered the opportunity to go on two excursions on Thursday, April 15. You will be taken on behind-the-scenes tours of WGBH (http://www.wgbh.org/) and the ICA (http://www.icaboston.org/). A fee of $10 will be charged to cover transportation costs.

Hotel Information: Our weekend will take place at the beautiful and historic Omni Parker House Hotel www.omniparkerhouse.com in downtown Boston. Special room rates of $199 per night (not including taxes) are available for all Conference attendees from April 12 through April 18.
