Tour of the NYC Department of Records Municipal Archives led by Curator of Photography Michael Lorenzini.The NYC Municipal Archives' collections span four centuries and include millions of artifacts: Drawings of Manhattan Island at the time of the original land purchase... Photographs of 19th and 20th century immigrants... several photographic surveys of NYC properties and buildings... the collection is as fascinating as it is extensive.During the evening of Wednesday Nov 18th, 25 ASPP members got to explore the archive. Light refreshments were served during a reception after the tour.
