In 2006 ASPP launched its Mentoring Program entitled “Expose Yourself to Careers in the Photo and Visual Media Industry,” and the program contines today.
The Program's goal is to provide a forum for college-level photography students to rub shoulders with photo professionals and learn about picture professional career choices... the opportunities in our trade.
Our Mentoring Program sends a panel of ASPP members into a given school or educational environment to provide students with concrete information and advice about finding a direction and how they can expand their photographic abilities or interests. Our panels typically include representatives of several professional disciplines, including professional photographers.
